Yes, Laurie, I too miss the central collection point of comments connected to the journal that we used to be able to follow in the previous system.
7 years agoWe just love the picture and note from Sabrina! If you read this, Sabrina, hugs and kisses to you and the kids :)
7 years agoYes, that was part of it. I notice that the bakery also labelled it "new",
7 years agoErika immediately noted that it looks like marzipan is in the centre. She likes that a lot :)
7 years agoThanks for the HB wishes. No general guestbook, but if you want to send a private message you can always email. Today will be the Market in Arles and then heading off into the Camargue. White horses, black bulls and flamingoes, oh my.
7 years agoSay Grampies - is there no general guestbook for the blog that I can post on? This seems an odd place to say Happy Birthday!!
uh - HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

Looks pretty iffy to me too!
7 years agoYou might look at our tour from last fall also, and maybe learn from our mistakes: navigation getting in to Sete from the east is a bit tricky. See https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/sete2017/to-sete-end-of-the-line/
Also, if you’re up for a bit of a splurge when you get to Sete, I recommend Hotel Orque Bleu.
Thanks for the info, one of us was getting anxious about it. Yes, the ornithological park is on the to see list. The Camargue is a really special place and we are really looking forwad to our trip through it.
7 years agoDefinitely take the tiny path by the sea. We rode in from Saintes Marie’s to the Gacholle Lighthouse on our tour last fall (https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/sete2017/at-aigues-mortes-the-camargue/). It’s a great ride, and the path is fine for bikes except for a few sandy spots. On the next day, be sure to stop in at the ornithological Park - it was a real highlight of the tour.
Will you be stopping at Aigues-Mortes too?
Yay, Roussillon! I agree - it’s really the best of the villages. If/when we ever make it back to the Luberons I want to spend the night there.
7 years agoWell, get on it then !

Any place is good for such a wish. Thanks Laurie!
