"...I didn’t edit the route because it’s such a pain to edit in the app or on the website using my iPad mini..."
I've found the same thing to be true on my small Android tablet. In fact, it alerts me that the touch screen interface isn't really well-supported (though it uses a less-negative phrase) and strongly suggests use of a pointing device (mouse or stylus) instead. That, however, is more than I care to lug around though I do carry a small foldable Bluetooth keyboard. I've not really looked to see if I can find a mouse that I could use with the tablet.
What that means in practical terms is that I really really need to get all my route planning done from home, using my desktop computer and the RWGPS web application rather than the mobile app. That makes it a challenge to design / select routes while on the road, unless I simply let RWGPS pick everything then blindly follow its choices.
How Team Anderson manages to get it done is a mystery to me, but they do.
Look for koalas!
2 years agoVery Napoleonic-looking! I'm always impressed (and amused) by the ornate "costumeiness" of Italian police uniforms. Who else but the Italians would have uniforms designed by Gucci?
2 years agoDEFINITELY a Type 2 Fun sort of experience. I'm cold just reading about it.
2 years ago... and quite a view it is!
2 years agoEvidently the road's not important enough to merit the expense of building retaining walls. Cheaper in the short run to scrape it clear when / as needed.
2 years agoHuh... a Sicilian ghost town. That's a new concept to me.
2 years agoWe will have to look that up. We don’t follow much bike racing as we’d rather be out riding.
2 years agoThe Giro di Sicilia starts April 11 so the Ag2r boys were probably getting their last training ride in 👍
2 years agoOnly 2/3. We ordered it because the alternative was a whole bottle of wine, which is too much for us most of the time. We don’t really care for soft drinks with meals.
2 years agoAgain, perspective is everything. That beer bottle looks like it holds 1.5 litres, minimum.
2 years agoYou are correct, he looks very tall in this shot. Like about 6'5" or more. Perspective is everything.
2 years agoFor the record, he’s about 5’11”.
2 years agoE Regnans perhaps?

We actually liked the dearth of traffic! We’ve also seen many failed walls.
