Dodie, you poor thing! I hope it doesn't smart too much!

I think so. Great egret, I believe.

Dodie, you are an awesome woman! I don't think I would do another tour without my electric bike! Imagine how much fun it would be to circle that darn island. But hey, you are still on your feet. No curled up in a ball Southern Tier reruns for you! Hey, we just booked our tickets for Frankfurt and I got us electric bikes for a month. We still will have to figure out how to get batteries back and forth but in the meantime, I'm a convert and a rental will do. I hope I can ride my ebike or rent one at all times from now on!!! I even wrote Bosch to see what they would be willing to do but I have not heard back - cowards. Loving your trip. Janet

These guys need an ambulance to follow them based on their willingness and or ability to ride single file and on the shoulder. Du!!

Poor Lady Grackle with her frumpy no-tail.

Thanks for that Andrea. Yes, as you can see my Grackle has no tail at all!

This is a female Great-tailed Grackle, Quiscalus Mexicanus. The males are larger and blacker with longer tails.

I think thelast major huricane here was in 2002. But there can also be tidal waves. There was a big earthquake a couple of weeks ago, but no wave resulted.

Well now we will not be so reticent to try that particular fast food outlet. Usually we try to avoid the fast food chains.

Taco Bell does both soft and hard shell tacos. (although I have not eaten one since my 2010 heart attack) I preferred soft due to fragmentation of hard ones, but I thought both good, even if not up to Mexico standards.

Too bad. We saw some more today, but did not have the recipe.
