Kathleen Jones commented on Day 4 - Creglingen to Hochhausen

That's a lovely romantic moment on the Romantic Road. What a nice little story.

The crash is not so fun. That and the itchy bites can put a dent in enjoyment. And yet you and Janos carry on.

Sorry about your crash Suzanne even if you arent badly hurt it does shake you up. Your ride along the Romatic Road brings back the lovely time we had a few years ago. We are still a bit undecided as to whether to ride in Germany to Munich or in France but when I read your journal and memories flood back and Germany begins to win
Keep safe

I tried to explain in today's blog entry for Grampies Tour de France how the gradient could matter even on an ebike tour. I like the fact that you do not consider it even worth mentioning here.

On our trip just ended I noticed certain flowers dominant in certain regions: Provence - iris, Brittany - rhododendron, Holland - hydrangea. I guess it's a combination of people's preferences and the climate, but surely geraniums are always seen with fachwerk.

Rachael and I biked this route back in 1996, on route from Prague to Paris. Nordlingen and Dinkelsbuhl were real highlights of the trip. Thanks for bringing them back to life again!
