The funny thing is, the food has been so incredible I just can’t stop eating. I want to sample everything! My filter is gone 😂

We now know why you and Scott have done repeat trips in southern Italy. Wow, just wow!

You're writing makes me hungry and thirsty! And, of course, eat and drink in Italy!

It sounds like our tours overlapped a fair bit. It’s been just incredible.

Thanks for this Lyle. David explained this to me when he chose the tires. It was still hard to wrap my head around it, but now that I have experienced riding this style of tires, I am a convert. Even the TDF pros are using wider tires.

Re: your comments on tire size you might want to check out this post from Schwalbe

This will provide the explanation of why you are liking your wider tires, and dispel the myth that wider tires have greater rolling resistance.

The comfort factor of wider tires at lower pressure for touring is a huge consideration for touring also IMHO.

Great trip through Puliga, it must be wonderful to be there in the spring.

We were there in 2019! We took an overnight ferry from Dubrovnik to Bari, then a train to Benevento. It was about halfway to Naples.

Apparently, they breed sea bream, sea bass and Marathi at these fish farms.

I wonder what kind of fish they are farming?
