Great news! Possibly it was a good thing you went to the airport as it sounds like they have a lot of bags to get through.

1 year agoOh my goodness! That is one of the worst airlines stories I have heard in a long time. Air Canada I assume. Not that it seems to make much difference these days. And to be fair, AC did get us to Barcelona, through Montreal, with the bikes this trip. I am admiring your resilience and cheered when I read your next post.
1 year agoYoohoo! Got bikes, can travel!
1 year agoI should have read ahead. Good news about the luggage!
1 year agoYikes! What a start to your trip. Hopefully the bikes show up soon.
1 year agoI’m so relieved for you, and know how you must have been feeling. This happened to us years ago when we waited three days in Innsbruck when the airlines claimed to have no idea where our bikes were. Very unnerving.
1 year agoHooray!
1 year agoGreat news! I agree with Pat that it’s time to celebrate 🎉 with a beer 🍺

Might be pyracantha. If so probably requires warmer weather to grow well. As a kid in southern CA, I ate handfulls of the berries. Crunching the seeds, however can release toxins causing digestive distress, which never happened to me. Good bird attraction later in the year.
1 year agoOK, a bit of searching and it looks like it will grow in Vancouver.
