19 hours agoHuh. Interesting. I always mistakenly assumed it was from some guy named Kugel (although, come to think of it, I guess it still could if his ancestors were rotund). Now I’m curious about the leakage as well.
21 hours agoWell, Kugel is the German word for sphere.
Now I wonder how it leaked into English and became a specific word for sphere-shaped artifacts.
That was my first thought, and it could be since it was taken near the George Moody Middle School, but there's nothing I could find that indicates it's specifically for deaf students.

Our son has a miniature dachshund whose legs actually are the size of a small breakfast sausage. It’s amazing how fast she can run. She could keep up with our large 18 month old 38kg lab pup, and actually pivot much faster. Regarding the tail, I actually thought about using it to whip team once but K talked me out of it
