1 year agoOld Milwaukee was always one of lowest cost/lowest quality beers on the market. I haven't seen it in years. Not even sure if it's made anymore. If it is, I'm pretty sure it's not brewed in Milwaukee anymore.
1 year agoSad to see it's over already! Don't feel bad about staying indoors, it's human nature to seek comfort and normality and it's a hard habit to break! There's always next time - looking forward to reading about it. Thanks!
1 year agoDid you drink any Old Milwaukee? Does anyone in Milwaukee drink Old Milwaukee? I drank some in Canada. I wouldn't exactly recommend it.
1 year agoI had to look up "the Saul on the road story" and yes, it would have nice to have such an enlightening experience. Alas, the Cheese God must not have considered me worthy enough.
1 year agoThanks, George.
There are several Laura Ingalls Wilder sites in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. Anyway, now I'm going to have to have a look to see if you've found Bigfoot yet.
Another great tour and entertaining read Greg, a little disappointed you didn't have a 'Saul on the road to Lambeau Field' experience. The short videos were a great inclusion too.
1 year agoEnjoyed the journal, looking forward to your next one. Saw the movie many years ago and loved it, of course. Unfortunately, my racing speed these days is everyone else's easy cruising speed. In the context of not researching in advance, I was quite surprised to stumble upon Laura Ingall Wilder's birthplace when we toured through Wisconsin - that was a very pleasant surprise indeed.
