Very true! You certainly have a good attitude about it which helps immensely!
1 year agoYeah, not having my GoPro was frustrating, as there was so much I would have liked to capture. After I returned home, I bought some 3rd-party replacement screws (strangely enough, GoPro doesn’t sell them on their own), so now I have backup for future trips.
I learned so much about myself along the way — I hadn’t really camped for years and learned in a final way that it’s not the travel method for me. All part of the learning and growing process, which never ends. 😊
I’m so sorry to hear you lost the screw for your gopro. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve forgotten to pack some piece of my camera or mount or lost it somewhere. This trip my camera was dropped and wasn’t working very well so I bought a new one on the road. Sure sounds like you had a challenging but wonderful ride. That’s awful not being able to take a shower. I’m with you on not liking camping. We gave that up years ago. I look forward to reading the rest of your journal!
