After several days without or with severely limited cell service — that, and exhaustion from the riding itself — I decided to finish the travel blog after I returned home and had access to “normal” resources. 

To those of you who worried about what happened to me, I’m sorry for not explaining sooner. 

The short story is that I made it to the border of Mexico healthy and in one piece. The long story will be taken up again over the next few days as I gather, sync, and sort through the hundreds of photos and videos taken during the tour.
