Thanks!
1 month agoThanks. We were lucky to have such a beautiful day!
1 month agoThe video was awesome! The skies, trees, landscaping, and (most) surroundings were a wonderful ride!

1 month agoOh, well that’s funny. At least I didn’t call it a dogwood! Who knows where that came from? I almost pointed out that there are both star and globe magnolias blooming as well as the first azaleas.
1 month agoAnd magnolias, of course.
1 month agoStellar's Jays were regular visitors to the back deck when I lived in Vancouver (Clark Co, USA). They loved peanuts.
1 month agoWe were hoping this might entice you to come up our way to see the Stellar's Jay, other local birds, and oh yeah, us.
1 month agoClinton Street! We saw her a number of times at Alberta Rose, but never there. In any case, neither was the one I referred to here. This was back in 2002, and I think in the open space by the Portland Art Museum. It wasn’t her show, but someone called her to the stage to solo a pair of Carter songs. I don’t think it had been long at all since his passing.
1 month agoYup. It’s like the varied thrushes - another species that’s more common further north.
1 month agoThere is a birding trail near us that has red wing blackbirds, chickadees, towhees, and, drumroll please, Stellar's Jays. The Jays fly in and perch on trailside bushes, posing nicely while people fire off their cameras.
1 month agoI love that CD. If that Tracy Grammer gig was at the Clinton Street theatre, we were there, too! Small world.
