Maybe because it is Easter night now, the circular window above the door frame reminds me of a halo. 😇

It's not usually up that is the biggest problem, but coming down. The need to hold the joints stable when descending can be a real "pain".

How wonderful! We would probably do the same if Scott didn’t have his issues with his sight. At least we can stay in Europe at least for 9 months if we stay in Great Britain during the summer.

I’d cycle in northern Italy again, but that’s not as easily accessible from my front door. Belgium is 2.5km away, France is about 95km, and Germany is around 200km.

Well there's some news. Not Italy though?

My cycle tour plans for the year are also up in the air. I am bailing on the US and relocating to Zeeland in the Netherlands end of June. I suspect the downsizing process won’t be complete by end of a May when I planned to do a two week tour. Given that I’ll have the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany all virtually at my doorstep, I guess I can probably wait a few more weeks before commencing a tour. Here’s hoping your tour goes as planned this time!

I anticipated it when we took our seats. I think Rachael was surprised I didn't want to sit with my bad eye to the wall and facing the room.

I like the double portrait. A common scene for you two.

Seeing it from this angle makes it more clear, for sure. (And a wonderful puzzle.)

Did you stand there being grateful you can see?

Keens are rarely included in glamour shots but they do the job.

I'm sure he'd be honored and would welcome it. I saw just a bit of white space left on the walls.

I spy Porky Pig, Popeye, and Stan from South Park in the crowd. Wonder If I should hold on to my fish tie for the day I return to Puglia?

Bad enough that I didn't climb up there for a perspective shot.
