It was great meeting you!
I agree with you about French restaurant food vs. Italian.
That canoe trip must have been awesome!
Same here...
1 week agoThe Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit! That was something I was looking at about forty years ago also, back when I did a bit of canoeing. It looks so enticing on the map.
1 week agoThere was one bit of fast-moving water and no problem for us or Graeme and Rachel (both experienced paddlers, especially Rachel who was taught by her dad). The other two boats in our group did okay too.
1 week agoLooks like he knows what he is doing!
Was there any white water?
Thanks, Angela!
1 month agoYou are so tough! Amazing trip, thanks for sharing your journey, I really enjoyed the details.
1 month agoFor sure. We can compare notes when we get back from our tour. Although our tour is not as extensive as yours, it does follow some of the same terrain.
1 month agoThanks, Scott. Ideas are percolating. The only thing that’s certain is we will avoid Europe in the latter half of June going forward.
1 month agoWe really enjoyed meeting you and Janos too. We will have to do it again so we have more time to chat.
1 month agoThanks, Patrick! We will have to have a Vancouver meetup this year!
1 month agoAl is a very strong cyclist. I’m just persistent (some might say stubborn). We both agree that we’d rather tackle climbs than flat paths with unchanging or no view.
1 month agoWell, congratulations, you two. I've been busy going mad for a few days so I've got some catching up to do, but what an awesome accomplishment. It's a shame and frightening that it's persisted as so hot and the snow has receded so far on the peaks, but there are a lot worse conditions you could have encountered.
Anxious to go back and anxious to see where you take us next time. Welcome home.
Correct, but it surprised me at first so I had to research it. I don't remember seeing it from this perspective.

BC is a fantastic province to explore. But you need reservations to do almost anything (like any of the famous hikes or the Bowron Circuit) and lots of money if you don’t want to camp. And time—it’s a big province.
