I think this is rosemary.
6 years agoThese wouldn't be blueberries, would they? Blueberry bushes turn red in the fall. I can't really tell how tall these are.
6 years agoHi Scott,
Evidently you make the weather, but also apparently not the roads! The morning looked perfect, with the snow behind the castle and all. Perhaps it’s just France versus Spain. And I always want to go to Spain.
We considered a cycling tour in Morocco, but then found an agency (well not really agency, just folks putting together tours when they feel like it) that created a very customized itinerary to small villages and the desert. None of this is really accessible by bicycle, at least not this season. So we gave up on the wheels and walk. At least part ways Dromedaries will carry the packs. An adventure of a different sort, I expect.
You still do more kilometers than we, but I see you also stay in one place for a few days more often. We enjoy touring much more since there is less packing.
Bonne continuation,
Bernhard
Thanks for the flexibility, Jen. You HACs are the best! Well, you and Bruce, really, with his willingness to pass on the biggest bedroom. Sounds like you may need to arm wrestle Andrea over the heated towel bar though.
6 years agoYou’re right! She looks like she just stepped out of a Borden’s advert.
6 years agoI’d say your research technique is pretty impressive, and I think you’re spot on here. The photo in your link looks just right.
6 years agoNot sure about the tough part, but nuts for sure! Thanks for following along, thanks for the encouragement.
6 years agoThat was Andrea’s take also, that she’s a Bengal. I stared at a gallery of photos of both the Bengal and Savannah and couldn’t decide, until I read about the Savannah, a hybrid bred with a serval - half wild, half domestic. The looks are there, but it’s not large enough. It must be a Bengal.
6 years agoMaybe a Bengal -- just chatting with a Cat Expert :)
6 years agoI hope she does.
I nearly gave up on the ID search. My initial thought was that it looked like a nightshade family, but did not use that name till I'd exhausted all the color, etc. descriptives I could think of. My flower search capabilities outside North America are kind of weak.
Could be, but if sowhere are the potatoes? We’ll wait for Andrea’s confirmation though - I’m sure she must have this growing in the back yard.
6 years agoThe cat resembles a Savanna Cat -- might search for that breed and look at the photos and see what you think.
Great tour, enjoying following along!
What a striking animal .. love those green eyes!
6 years agoExcellent photo! Not only because the cow finds you interesting, but also because it's one of the happiest and healthiest looking cows I've seen.

Definitely in the Ericaceae family.
