Thanks for the movie recommendation! It’s not on Netflix in Canada but I found it on Crave and added it to my list.

6 months agoIronically, one of the comics in today’s newspaper ( yes, print edition= OLD age) is a coyote on a treadmill with the roadrunner on the video ;)
6 months agoWow! Here in BC, I’d say 99% of resort downhill skiers wear helmets. As for backcountry skiing, numbers are growing. For this, more Americans were wearing them than Canadians, but those percentages may have changed since my last backcountry trip 6 years ago.
6 months agoGreat scenery but I’d be walking a trail like this if I wasn’t worried about getting hit by a mountain bike.
6 months agoI’m glad you got a ride in. Scott went out in the morning but I hang out at the Airbnb and we went to a movie in the evening.

6 months agoGreat photo! I love all the great bridges and the neat shadows.
6 months agoThat dribble of rain isn't enough to help these poor plants in the middle of a drought. Even the prickly pear pads are drying and wrinkly. Normally this time of year, winter rains have greened up everything.
6 months agoA delightful experience!
6 months agoIt is interesting how differently people can perceive what is a fun ride. For us, the most fun is flat, paved, trails. Your version of fun, which seems to be a lot of dirt, gravel, and hilly bits, would be our version of hell on wheels. To each their own....
6 months agoThat's a good hike. All in a day's work for you I suppose.
6 months agoThanks Rachael!
6 months agoIt's so funny. I want to see more murals on this trip

Nope. The twins, if you could see them, are tiny features, hidden behind the low ridge on the right. The major features are Safford a peak on the left and Panther Peak on its right. They’re more or less the northern end of the Tucson Mountains.
