We started the week well … after patiently waiting for 7 years, my oldest granddaughter completed her cycling debut with me on an open bike path riding from my garage to her garage several miles away. Proud Grumpy moment!

And just when the week was showing excellent progress towards Spring and Summer riding, we woke up to snow coming down … and coming down more … and coming down more.

Not the end of the world and I did get to ride outside, even in shorts, the full week but it seems Alaska sometimes just wants to play with our minds and send us a reminder that it is still early May.
