Day 55 Munising, MI

It was another day of beautiful blue skies, but a little cooler than it's been the last few days.   We rode from Marquette to Munising and had a view of Lake Superior much of the way.

One of the unusual attractions in the UP is the Lakenenland Sculpture  Park.

The artist has been creating his outdoor "junkyard art" and opening the park to the public for free for years.  It seems that there has been an ongoing conflict with the local government over his park for many years.  So far, the artist seems to be winning.

We had a lot of fun walking around and looking at the sculptures.  They were very inventive and creative.

One last thing for today.  I haven't talked about our meals much or posted any food pictures, but I have a question about this salad.  It is an antipasto I had in Marquette that was really good.  My question is about the little round red vegetables.  The waitress said they were some kind of sweet pepper.  Does anyone recognize these?
