Day 94 Foley to Pensacola, FL
We still have a week left, but it feels like were back home today. We're back in Florida and we're seeing our good friends, Curt and Helene, from home. We're also riding on flat terrain again - that may be the best thing!
First, here is a picture of the sunset in Foley last night as we were walking back from dinner.
We had another busy road for a few miles this morning leaving Foley. Once we got down to Gulf Shores, the route took us into Gulf State Park. There we rode on a bike trail highway. All bikes trails should be this good.
After leaving the park, we got on the beach highway and rode along the Gulf. It's really starting to look like home!
A few miles later, here we are back in Florida. We were so excited we had to stop for pictures twice!
Our very good friends, Curt and Helene, are here in Pensacola today on their way west for a long road trip. They started at our B&B and rode their bikes out to meet us. It was so good to see them again. We rode back to the B&B together. They left for their hotel, but promised to return later with wine. We're waiting...
