This route which features the beautiful Saone river is best known to us for being on Eurovelo 6.  Eurovelo 6 is one of the better developed routes in the Eurovelo system. It extends all the way from the Atlantic, near St. Nazaire on the Loire, 3653 km to Constanta, Romania on the  Black Sea.  Probably EV 6's finest bit is the Loire a Velo  section, which is 800 km from the Atlantic towards the east. But the section we will be on here is well signed and beautiful as well.
