Plitvice Lakes -Wow!!!

Amazing!

Plitvice lakes national park is an amazing natural wonder. Hundreds of waterfalls, brilliant turquoise water, all linked together with pathways to make the waterfalls accessible. Pretty much we are going let the many many pictures speak for themselves. The colors in the pictures are actual. The water really is a brilliant turquoise when the sun hits it right.

Plitvice lakes is a string of lakes with waterfalls where the water from an upper lake spills into a lower lake

We walked over 20,000 steps, about 7 miles in and around the lakes and waterfalls. We followed route C which led us around both the lower and upper lakes, gave us a boat ride and also a bus ride back along the upper lakes. We cut the bus ride short to follow route K back to the entrance to get in some additional time around the lakes.
