The weather has become more moderate. High of about 70 today, though some brief showers. It was scheduled to be a shorter day at 40 miles so we decided on a 9:30 start. There was a nice section along the Mississippi and we eventually got to the Hennepin Canal Trail. There were a lot of bass fishers. Much of it was paved but not all. A lovely spot for lunch  in Geneseo. I had a flat just before lunch and Dave broke a spoke about the same time though he didn't realize it until later. Dinner was at Subway at the last minute.
