A true rest day.  Nice breakfast at our B&B, then walked 20 minutes down to the only laundromat in town.   With clean clothes, we’ll spend the rest of the day eating or resting in our comfy room.

Both of us are suffering from tired legs, and the heat is pretty oppressive.   the We’re doing our best to recharge.  Tomorrow we have a big climb that we’ll probably walk a lot of, but after that the days get a bit easier.  The temperature looks like it’s going peak on Sunday, so that might help a bit, too.

Fun fact of the day:  The name of this town is pronounced “rooo-on-suh”.   The “M” is not pronounced and the last “S” is pronounced even though there’s no “E” after it.  In French it should be spelled “Rouence”.  This language is infernal.
