Day Six: Prospect, OR to Redmond, OR
Guess how the day was started? Prospect Hotel coffee and Wordle (streak is improving!). Had a hearty morning breakfast and geared up for Crater Lake ride. Cool weather and dry air was forecast with just a bit of smoke in the sky.
Our Crater Lake ride was 22 miles with 2,133 feet of climbing. The East Rim Road was closed for construction, so the ride turned into an out-n-back.
The drive to Redmond, OR (106 miles) was quick and we arrived just in time to unload and shower before meeting up for the first BAC happy hour.
Our pictures don't reflect the true beauty of Crater Lake, but perhaps do speak a thousand words.
