Say 11: Dry Gulch SP to Fairmont Hotsprings BC

We should have heeded the Lonely Planet warning that the sucking sounds you hear in this town are tourist dollars being sucked away. But we had planned a short easy day with a afternoon of R&R. For $50.00 we get campsite that does get us access to a swimming pool and good Wi-Fi.

We haven't been to a Tim Horton's before, so here we go.

Osprey nests are spread al along the highway. Must be good fishing in the Columbia here.

Just south of Fairmont Hotspings. Another resort town we probably should have avoided.

Some pretty rock formations just outside of town.

We get a picnic table, good Wi-Fi, a swimming pool and there is even a coin-up laundry. That takes care of a half rest day.

This guy thinks it is very funny we paid $50 to camp under his tree.
