Listed below are the Lighthouses and Museums I plan to visit.

Some of these I visited on my trip down the California coast last year but I will list them again as they are part of the lighthouses around the Bay Area.

Some places I will be visiting again to get Lighthouse Passport stamps as I lost my passport book halfway through last years tour.

1/ Fort Point Lighthouse. Accessible. Open Thursday through to Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Golden Gate National Park, Fort Point. Tower closed. Grounds open. 

2/ Point Blunt Lighthouse. Observable. Take ferry to Angel Island and rent a bike to ride the access road. Tower & Grounds closed. 

3/ Point Knox Lighthouse. Remains Observable. Take ferry to Angel Island and rent a bike to ride the access road. Tower & Grounds closed. 

4/ Point Stuart Lighthouse. Remains Observable. Take ferry to Angel Island and rent a bike to ride the access road. Tower & Grounds closed. 

5/ Lime Point Lighthouse. Observable. View: Can be seen from north side of Golden Gate Bridge. Tower & Grounds closed. 

6/ Point Bonita Lighthouse. Accessible. Lighthouse is open Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m 

7/ Alcatraz Lighthouse. Accessible. On Alcatraz Island. Ferry ride from San Francisco. Tower closed. Grounds open. 

8/ Yerba Buena Island Lighthouse. Observable. On Coast Guard property and is not open to the public. Views of the lighthouse are possible from the Alameda/Oakland Ferry that runs between San Francisco and Alameda/Oakland. 

9/ Lightship Relief WLV 605.Accessible. Jack London Square, Oakland. The lightship is open Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (510) 992-3545. 

10/ Oakland Harbor. Accessible. Has been converted to a restaurant/bar Quinn's Lighthouse Restaurant and Pub 

San Francisco Maritime Visitor Center. Open 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 499 Jefferson. (cnr of Jefferson & Hyde St).(415) 447-5000. Farallon Island Lighthouse lens on display. 

San Francisco Maritime Museum. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 900 Beach St (at Polk), San Francisco. (415) 561-7100. 

11/ Point Reyes Lighthouse. Accessible. The visitor center at the top of the stairs and the lighthouse are open all year, Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
