Day 9 San Carlos: Bus stalls for cyclists

Moteles Buli

With the rain, we get to wear our new rain jackets. Rachel thought we had the same style, but Patrick's jacket has a cord to tighten the bottom of the jacket. But boy, the jackets are great in the cold wind and rain!!

Bus stalls are the perfect rest stop

We eat mid-afternoon at a local "truck stop." A stew with one large piece of meat and one big potato and few other vegetables. The dish is very tasty.

Within a kilometer we stop riding for the day check into Moteles Buli. Hot Showers! Later we fix hot chocolate, soup and enjoy the bread that the motel owner gave to us.

Patrick worked for BASF in Belgium
