two restdays Medellin: its all about the food

Not much to say about the two rest days in Medellin. Yesterday, we took the subway into the Historic Center. And that was about the most that we did in the two days, other than eating "anything but fried chicken and potato fries". The hostel is located in a great place very near to good restaurants and supermarkets.

Today was rainy and we were slugs, enjoying that the TV movie channel has English speaking movies that haven't been dubbed over in Spanish. We are ready for the final push to be in Cartagena in 10 cycling days.

The Cathedral of Medellin is made from 1,120,000 bricks.

Nice brick work. 1,120,000 were used to build this structure.

Not one of the better neighborhoods of Medellin.
