Rain Dodge

Emerald Isle to Beauford

Looked out and saw rain this morning but by the time we were ready to ride it had stopped.

We soon crossed over the intracoastal waterway again.

A bike path started and ran for maybe 10 or 15 miles but it ended up having many stop signs and we eventually went to very nice shoulder along the island.

They take their miniature golf very seriously here so I finally stopped and took a picture.

We had to ride out to see the ocean as it is blocked by homes and sand dunes even though it is just 50 yards away.

Another mini golf place. The blue water coming out of the fountain is very popular.

Beaufort (pronounced Bowfort) is a very quaint little town. We rode through the neighborhoods and along the waterfront.

Then we rode over to our AirBnB. This is Bogue. He's 13 years old. Savannah is also 13 and I will try to get a picture of her too. Paula is our host and she is off to a sailing meeting.
