Back in the USA

Ridgetown, ON to Algonac,  MI

Gary and Kim made us breakfast this morning. He is retired and enjoys cyclists coming to stay. He is looking into warmshowers but his AirBnB is very reasonable.

Off we rode and we each lead 10 miles at a time! Before we knew it we were in Dresden, our halfway point and we found a Tim Hortons for coffee and visiting with the locals

We crossed onto Walpole Island and soon we were at the shore of St Clair River!

The water is the highest it has been since the 70s. They had to stop walk ons for a while until they came up with this ramp to keep us from slipping and falling in the water!

Here we are in Algonac! We stopped at Kroger's for two days worth of food and we are going to take a rest here.
