A Really Big Hill!

Smith River fo Klamath

We climbed 2000 feet today and it was one really big hill! This morning we woke up to this beautiful view outside our sliding door! We had breakfast out on the deck. Not a sole was sharing this place with us. This is a great place for cyclists!

Our view this morning!

We rode quiet country roads to Crescent City. Look! Turkeys!

Sheri's bike started making a rubbing sound so we stopped at a bike shop in Crescent City. He didn't know what it was but he put some oil in her pedals and adjusted the front fender. The noise continued for the rest of the day.

The Pebble Beach road in Crescent City is all along the coast.

Emma couldn't resist heading out onto this rock. It was windy but she made it back to us.

We stopped to see Katie at the Thrift store she works at. Katie is a warm showers host for St Paul's church. We were going to stay at the church but we didn't get far enough and wanted to go further today so we just stopped to say hello.
