Tiadaghton back to Jersey Shore PA
The Camp site was gorgeous and two Bald eagles gave us a fly by during breakfast and perched in the trees across the creek. We packed up and headed back to Jersey Shore, PA. We stopped for lunch once again at the Manor House. I took my time returning, inhaling autumn and all the gold. The boys had shipped out by the time I got to Jersey Shore. They are young men with families, jobs, responsibilities. I'm retired and thankful for the invitation to ride and hang out.
One more day would have been perfect. Leave the gear in the Tiadaghton camping area and continue on the trail to Darling Run and return. Probably a twenty mile round trip. That would have completed the gorge. Then spend another night at Tiadaghton. All and all it was a great weekend.
