Day 70 - Gen. MacArthur, Easter Samar to Guiuan to Quinapondan, Eastern Samar with a side trip to Sulungan, Guiuan

Sun, rain, and wind, sometimes all at once, in 120km of smooth and well-paved roads (except in some parts of Guiuan) on gentle rolling terrain with easy climbs on a moderate hill in Naparaan, Salcedo, from KM.1007 St. Joseph's Parish Church, where I had breakfast with biker-priest, Rev. Fr. Edgar Abucejo, to KM.1070 San Antonio de Padua Shrine, where we had lunch with the parish priest, to KM.996 Junction Buenavista, Quinapondan, where I had dinner at a small roadside eatery, to KM.991 St. Nicolas of Tolentine Parish Church, where I'll sleep tonight at Rev. Fr. Jun Elarde's convent.

Most of the people I met here were parish priests. I was mistaken for a priest as well. Except for Allen, Taft, at Catbalogan City, I slept in  parish church convent c/o biker-priest, Rev. Fr. Amado Picardal, CSsR, in this Samar Island Loop.

I forgot the names of the parish priests in Allen, Taft, Salcedo, Mercedes at Sulangan because I forgot to list them down. Sorry.

Tacloban City - Fr. Γαρυ Αλυαραδο ΙΙ; Calbayog, W. Samar - Fr. Rolly Laruda; S. Roque, N. Samar - Fr. Alwin Legaspi; Lapinig, N. Samar - Fr. Batchoi Osias; MacArthur, E. Samar - Fr. Ed Abucejo; Quinapondan, E.Samar - Fr. Jun Elarde; Tacloban City - Rev. Fr. Bong A. Puzon; Palo, Leyte - Monsignor Bernie Pantin

Many thanks to all of you!
