Day 142 - San Ildefonso Ilocos Sur to Paoay, Ilocos Norte via Currimao with a sidetrip to Vigan City
74km of smooth and well-paved roads on flats and gentle rolling terrain from KM.411(+2) San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur to KM.407 Heritage City of Vigan (+3) to KM.470 Paoay Church via Currimao, Ilocos Norte.
Sinanglao and empanada breakfast at Vigan Post Office; lunch at a small roadside eatery in front of Cabugao Municipal Hall; and dinner with fellow biker, Mark Sardonas, who rode with me from Currimao, at a restaurant at the back of Paoay Church. I'll pitch my tent on Mark's porch tonight.
