9/5/19 - 9/6/19 - To San Jose, then packing and shipping bike home
This morning David rode out with us from Palo Alto to San Jose. We were on bike paths most of the 19 miles. Then we turned one direction for tonight and tomorrow night’s lodging and he headed back home.
After lunch and checking in, Rose and I cycled back out to the Amtrak Station to box and ship my bike.
Bike shipped. Cycling for this tour is finished.
Now packing for Saturday’s flight home. Managed to eat all of the food in my panniers with the exception of one or two oatmeal servings. This has helped reduce volume a little bit. Also, I have given Rose a few items that she may want to use while she is still out here. Water jug, laundry pods, and fuel canister.
