Day-5 of week 2 on TEMBR

Day -5: La Rinconada (12200ft) Lasso (9875ft)

The night was windy, rainy. Fortunately most of the folks who went out at night to summit Cotopaxi returned safely after heavy winds and snow. I was happy to see all the new friends I had made the previous evening, safely back at La Rinconada.

After a great breakfast, we hit the road in lluvia, nivele. Ride was a great downhill first unpaved and then pavemento.

Highlight of the day was when Heli not only gifted us with snacks for the road but insisted on wiping out panchos dry. She's such a Mama Heli. Thanks to her we had dry Pancho which really kept us dry ad we rode bajada in lluvia y nivele. Muchos muchos gracias, Mama Heli.

Today's ride: 20 miles (32 km)
Total: 1,177 miles (1,894 km)
