Day -4 of Week 2 on TEMBR
Santo Domingo (9990ft) to La Rinconada (12200 ft) 16 miles
Great day of riding through a lot of barro, calles impedrado, trocha and more of the same.
We had to jump a few fences and I am fortune that we are biking together.

Finally we got to beautiful Cotopaxi National Park but the peak itself was covered by niveles. But the landscape was other wordly. We planned to camp at Tambopaxi lodge before deciding to camp by La Rinconada after meeting these friendly Ecuadorianos y Venezuelanos.
