On the way out of Hansens I paid the $10 shower fee and wrote the owners a note thanking them for their lovely camping spot.

More TD riders, more chats, and from one guy, specific advice to avoid Fleecer Ridge, AND Lava Mountain, due to heinous mud and pointless HAB. We'd  already planned to take the alternate around Fleecer, so now will consider the path options around Lava.

We didn't take any photos today because while the landscape was big and wide open, it makes quite dull photos.

Just before the climb to Elkhorn Hotsprings we detoured to Ma Bakers little grocery store in Grasshopper, and inhaled, (in my case) an 810g  can of pineapple pieces and 10 slices of Swiss cheese.

Our last resupply was Sawtel on Monday, so we are getting low on snack and lunch options -  I have 4 bars and a rice meal.

Tonight we are at Elkhorn Hotsprings, which has a restaurant and offers breakfast with the room. We enjoyed a lengthy soak in their hot pools too. It's rustic,  but comfortable.

Today's ride: 72 km (45 miles)
Total: 3,375 km (2,096 miles)
