Red Brick Road

During our layover day in Milton, I also biked on historical FL State Road 1, the "Red Brick Road."  Opened in 1921, and originally just 9 feet across,  it was widened with concrete shoulders in 1929 to become a 2-lane road. See photo. It is said to be one of the few existing brick roads in the U.S. with sections still in use today.
