Today's ride of 68 miles along U.S. Hwy 90 to Marianna FL was fun and quick, in sunny 70-80 degree weather and without headwinds.  Although Hwy 90 has a fair amount of traffic, its shoulders are wide and smooth

We passed through Caryville FL, which claims to be the "worm fiddlin' capital of the world." I won't dispute that claim.  My understanding is that worm fiddlin' involves banging sticks on a post in the ground so as to entice worms to emerge.
