Day 2: Rastatt to Annecy

We made it

The breakfast at Hotel Schwert was sumptuous even for German standards. We had our bikes back on the bike rack and were ready to go around ten, like yesterday, and it seems we didn't forget anything.

The drive was uneventful, I crocheted the time away, and we were in Annecy at four. Janos found a parking lot for the car, glad to be rid of it for now, and the hotel even has a large room for bicycle storage.

The big event of the day was our meet up with Rachael, Scott and Susan. It was wonderful to see them again and there was a lot of catching up to do. We had an enjoyable meal together and are looking forward to our ride together tomorrow. The pictures of us at the table weren't too good, maybe I can get some better shots of us tomorrow.

So that was it for today, short and sweet.

Jacquie GaudetWe will be in Annecy on May 29, less than two weeks from now. It looks so nice and warm in your photos! Here in Vancouver it's cool and drizzly, again, after a week or so of nice weather.
