Day 14: In Pont-en-Royans
Last day
This was our last day in Pont-en-Royans and the last day of our trip, not counting the two-day drive home. It wasn't a cycling day for us. Janos wanted to show me the beautiful valley of the Bourne that he and Rachael had so enjoyed on their way from Grenoble so we drove there in the car. Yes, it was indeed beautiful, and I know it would be exhilarating to cycle this road. I have only two pictures to show since there aren't many places where there is a pull out for parking and admiring the views.

As long as we were in the car, for lunch we decided to return to the restaurant in St. Jean where we made a coffee stop yesterday. Their menu looked good and there were a lot of locals enjoying the prix fixe meal. I had the local specialty that is on the menu of every restaurant here, ravioles. Too bad I didn't take a picture, they are mini ravioli and come in many variations.
We didn't do much else besides getting our belongings and heads organized for the ride home. At dinner we were only five, Jacquie and Al had left in the morning, and it was our last meal together on this trip. We all regretted the fact the our time together was over. We are hoping for a next time, when the Andersons return to Europe in good health, that Susan stays in such good shape and that Janos and I stay fit and stop (me) losing things.
