5. Port Angeles to Victoria, BC to Sidney, BC: Urban Bicycle Paradise

With one ferry a day, we had a leisurely morning. The summer ferry schedule with increased number of crossings per day begins on May 17.

The ferry was painless as were the border formalities. Plenty of understanding of bicyclists. Obvious that they had seens lots of folks making the crossing.

Upon arrival in Victoria it was easy navigating through the port side to the Galloping Goose North which quickly connects to the Lochside Trail to Sidney. And what a great trail! Lots of cyclists, great infrastructure, and wonderful weather.

A couple of miles short of our B&B stop, we treated ourselves to wings night and good beer at the Waddling Dog Pub in the Quality Inn motel.

Today's ride: 17 miles (27 km)
Total: 125 miles (201 km)
