A cold start this morning, 31F when we went to breakfast at the SpaceAge Restaurant so we decided that we would delay our start until 8:30. By then temperatures had soared to 39F. By noon we were in the lower 50's and with sunny skies and little wind we were able to shed layers. Hit 60 by 3PM.
A steady climb today overall grade of 1.9%. Total elevation gain of 1,416ft
Around mile 28 I had to call it a day and hitch a ride with George. Jeff decided to keep

me company and so we left Maggie and Tim to finish the ride on their own. We apparently did a lot of the work and missed the fun five mile downhill ride at the end, just our luck.
