Summary

This will be the final written entry of our journal, with just photos of Budapest to follow.

It is a great feeling of accomplishment on finishing this most amazing cycling trip, but also a little sad that it has come to an end. A few of my thoughts about the trip:

There is no possible better way to see a country, than from the seat of a bicycle.

Despite the adversity we found with the flooding, it was nothing compared to the poor people along the rivers who suffered great losses, and it was heartwarming to see people helping each other out.

All the detours, mud and water just added to the great adventure, and we never once wished we had come a different time of year.

The wonderful hospitality along the way.

J Cloths are indispensable!

Best of all, being able to share this truly amazing trip with the love of my life for the last forty-four years, and that we were both willing and able to do it together. Looking forward to the next one, wherever it may be.

Just Do It!

Thank you to our family, friends, and new friends for "coming along" on our journey.
