To Parthenay
I see that I missed posting this two day section, so I’ll do it now. it was a short and easy two day stretch, stopping the first night at Fontenay-le-Compte, and the second at Parthenay. Also, I see that I missed remembering much of anything about it, save for the delightful visit we had with an English-fluent couple that shouted down to us from their 2nd story on our way out of Parthenay. They invited us up for tea and a look around their home, and then we biked on to find our room. Probably our favorite personal encounter on the tour.
