This day between Hallett and Spalding, and the next day between Spalding and Laura, the flies were out en masse. It wasn't that hot (low-mid 20s C) but they were out there! I made good use of a fly net on these two days.

I had to move off the road to let this herd pass. The sheep were being driven by two dogs (one just visible here) and a farmer on a motorcycle. The young farmer stopped and I had a nice chat with him before we each went our separate ways.
