I started what I knew would be a long day with porridge, made on my trusty Coleman stove, oranges and strong black tea. A lovely sunny day with a mild Westerly wind! The ride was truly spectacular with lots of landscape, wild horses, wild camels and a cute tortoise who I helped across the road before he got squished! The route today included a long descent followed by a punishing ascent, albeit scenic. I finally made it into Say-Otes, and checked into Aisha Bibi cafe "hotel" which had friendly staff, good food and very basic dirty rooms... But hey... In the middle of nowhere, a tired and hungry cyclist is always grateful!
