The struggle bus

Sorry, I've been bad at updating the blog again. I've skipped an entire country -we are now in Bosnia and Herzegovina!

We have both been struggling with our lingering cold-flu disease, which has been coming in waves, making first one of us worse then the other. After the usual symptoms of disgusting bodily outbursts and feeling like everything from the chest up is full of weird fluids, the next major one has been tiredness, so while we have been cycling, it has been a delirious struggle to get through what should be incredibly easy ~50km days. This has not put us in a great mood, and so we haven't taken many pictures either. Sorry!

Day 67 - Skocjan to Samobor (HR (That's Hrvatska, AKA Croatia))

Day 68 - Samobor to Zagreb

Day 69 - rest day Zagreb

Day 70 - Zagreb to Sisak

Day 71 - Sisak to Kostajnica (BiH)

This was the first "road" komoot tried to take us down from the hills near Samobor LOL. Even the road was scarily steep.

We tried to calorie surplus our way out of sickness...

Zagreb is pretty nice! Though I think Ljubljana wins in a city-off.

We also had a few more punctures, including one very fun mystery puncture! A very nice Slovenian man even tried to find it by putting the tube underwater, but nothing. Luckily the new tube is holding.

Today's ride: 170 km (106 miles)
Total: 2,671 km (1,659 miles)
