Windy night and long day...Weedsport

The winds that benefits me so much yesterday and today made for a less then peaceful night.

I tried to choose a less windy spot behind a building. And it occasionally was. Three times I was woken by the fly door coming loose from it's hold down peg, or ripping it out. The last, at 4:30, prompted me to forget my normal wakeup of 5 am. It wasn't too bad trying to break down the tent in the wind though, a couple of times I feared something might fly into the canal. Nothing did, or so I currently think. And I got off to a pretty nice 6 ish start.

Sunrise in Middleport.

I realized yesterday, that there are rivers running under the canal, such as this one!

Beautiful views that aren't done justice.

Laura SeiditaI never seem to capture the beauty of scenery like this, either. I think our eyes just see so much more than a basic camera can capture.
