This is the continuation (after a fashion) of the blog "Two Of Us". This time I'll head out from out home in VT and end up close to Green Bay (well not really, I plan on stopping in Grand Rapids) usually following the Northern Tier Route E>W (hence the Outside In). As with the previous excursion, Tina will join for a bit of the early journey and then return home. She only wants to do the hills so after the ADK's she's back home. And June in VT is pretty special draw.

My route will be mostly NT. Though this time, I'll head out from home in VT and ending in Grand Rapids MI. Yeah, I stopped in Green Bay last time but I'm not getting hung up about covering every mile. Though this time there may be some added mileage as I hope top go up the west side of Lake Huron and down the east side of Lake Michigan. It's called doing the mitten. A large goal of this trip was to get to see the the Great Lakes.  Yes, I'll probably miss Superior but I'll get all the others! 

My training has been excellent if I were to kayak. It's been raining loads here and the water has been pretty consistent and fun. Bicycling may have suffered as a result. And once I start out, my suffering too may start....we'll see. And of course, I'll start out with a smile as I had a ledges run to start the day!
